- We have our NBA Finals set after the Celtics went to Miami to see off the Heat in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
- Despite being a majority of Celtics fans, you would have thought from the selection pool (3-1 C's) that the prevailing thought was that Boston was going home in this one.
- The lone Heat player selected was Trevor's pick Kyle Lowry. Miami's point guard had fewer assists than Miami's center, but still put together a 25 PRA night in defeat.
- Ryan took one of the joint-bench bargains of the evening in Grant Williams. He tied with Victor Oladipo for best off the bench honors with 17 PRA in 30 minutes.
- Jaylen Brown was the only Celtics starter to shoot better than 50% from the field in this one, finishing with 36 PRA for our game leader Matt heading into the Finals. It probably doesn't matter that he didn't hit on the Triple Double Down because he is still up over 140 PRA in the standings. Brown was the eighth and final player picked out during the Conference Finals and the second Celtics player.
- But our top score of the night went to Al with Marcus Smart. Smart tied his 2022 playoff-high from Game 1 with 24 points and ended his evening with 38 PRA in victory.
- Only Lou could have selected the night's optimal scorer Bam Adebayo who netted 40 PRA in his side's final stand.
