- There were just four games on the night with the start of the NCAA Tournament, with only Miami/Detroit garnering zero selections from our participants.
- It wasn't a particularly fruitful night for those that didn't back rookies though. The two veteran backers, Trevor and Colin, finished at the bottom of the daily table with Orlando's RJ Hampton (11 PRA) and New Orleans' Jaxson Hayes (20 PRA) respectively.
- The rookie bonus allowed Al to keep himself just ahead of his bronze medal rival as Hayes' teammate Jose Alvarado netted him 22 rookie-boosted PRA against Phoenix.
- Memphis had seven players in double figures as they blew out Indiana, with one of them being Matt's selection Ziaire Williams who went for 26 rookie-boosted PRA off the Grizzlies bench.
- On the wrong end of that scoreline was Ryan's pick Duane Washington Jr. He made more shots than every Pacers starter save Buddy Hield en route to 38 rookie-boosted PRA as a sub.
- But taking the last spot of this recap is the Last Man In Herb Jones who netted Lou 54 rookie-boosted PRA and the top score for the night. Paired with Alvarado, it was the second time in four days that two rookies from the same team were selected on the same day.
- Optimally, like Matt neglected 60 point scorer Karl-Anthony Towns yesterday, Trevor did the same today with Kyrie Irving. The polarizing point guard had 41 at halftime against Orlando and finished with 70 PRA in a massacre at Amway Center. Our bench bargains both came from the game nobody touched as Isaiah Livers had 48 rookie-boosted PRA for the shorthanded Pistons while Tyler Herro put up 38 PRA for Miami as their starters struggled.
