- Rosters are being re-built on the fly heading into the festive period of the NBA calendar and many guys are getting run they normally wouldn't find with a team at full strength.
- One of those recipients of extra minutes was Trevor's pick Cam Reddish who has assumed the lead scorer's role in the past few contests. It turned out to be quite the ugly contest though against Philadelphia and he finished with 22 PRA.
- The day's two Last Men In, Doug McDermott (Colin) and Talen Horton-Tucker (Lou), bounce between the starting lineup and bench without COVID shuffling so to get them for 19 and 20 PRA respectively while navigating the late game minefield is not too shabby.
- Ryan's pick Dorian Finney-Smith played the second-most minutes for the shorthanded Mavericks against the Bucks yet finished with the second fewest PRA among starters with just 18.
- Miles Bridges has been the glue for a Charlotte lineup that has seen nearly every other regular contributor miss significant time. Al's selection of the forward, which netted him 24 PRA, leaves only Ryan with the rising star Hornet left at their disposal.
- But everybody on this day was looking up at the man who they've looking up to on the leaderboard for a few weeks now, Matt. He went with his fifth rookie in eight days, this time going with Oklahoma City's Jeremiah Robinson-Earl. JRE had a rookie-boosted 32 PRA against the Suns in a showing where OKC actually led the defending Western Conference champs at halftime.
- Optimally, Kemba Walker is making the most of his return to the starting lineup with the Knicks. He had 61 PRA in New York's loss to Washington. His 44 points were as many as he scored in his last five games of November combined. For Bench Bargains, San Antonio was the spot as they blew out the Lakers. Keita Bates-Diop scored a career-high 30 points on his way to 37 PRA to tie him with Tyler Herro for the vets. KBD's teammate Jock Landale returned to the optimal blurb with 48 rookie-boosted PRA of his own in the big win for the Spurs.
