- It was all about the twos on the day in the NBA Pick One. Two players were picked twice, two from the same team. Two players were picked out. A new mechanic for the season was trigged for the second time by our night's top scorer.
- After all of that, Ryan has to be disappointed to see his pick Lonnie Walker IV in the first blurb. The Lakers went to OT with the Celtics but LA's starting shooting guard only had 10 PRA in him in the defeat. He was one of the two picked out players on the night, his first time being picked out in the Challenge.
- One of two Utah players picked twice was Mike Conley. Both Lou and Trevor probably wished they went with almost any other guard on the Jazz as Conley's 13 PRA was the lowest among perimeter players who played at least 25 minutes against New Orleans.
- The second of two Jazz players selected, and the second picked out player, was Lauri Markkanen. Al and Colin got a double-double and 31 PRA from the Finnish product in a winning effort.
- But our top scorer of the night was the second man to set off the 5x5 provision, Philadelphia's James Harden. Fellow lefty Matt got 5 bonus PRA via Harden's five steals to his already lofty total to finish with 48 PRA in a win over the Kings.
- Optimally, Jayson Tatum had 59 PRA as the Celtics stormed back from the brink to force overtime against the Lakers where they would ultimately come out victorious.
