- Once again inaction proved to be the best action in the NBA Pick One Challenge.
- Al rode in the daily caboose of the Challenge with Detroit's Marvin Bagley III. Detroit was able to get a massive win against the Nuggets, but the former #2 overall pick could only muster 17 PRA for our #1 overall player.
- The Nets were downed by a depleted Sixers squad despite having all three of their All-Stars healthy and starting. Two of them were picked on the night with Kyrie Irving netting Ryan 27 PRA and Colin getting 29 PRA from the mercilessly booed Ben Simmons.
- One of the Sixers that helped spark that unexpected victory was Trevor's pick Tobias Harris. Harris had a season-high 24 points en route to a total of 33 PRA for the evening.
- But our top scorers for the evening, for the third day in a row, were the Last Man In recipients Lou and Matt. They had to climb up to the newly introduced third step for 2022-23 with Detroit's Bojan Bogdanovic. He responded with 35 PRA in the aforementioned Pistons victory in Denver.
- Optimally, either Matt or Ryan could have ridden the hot hand of Anthony Davis. In LeBron James' absence, the Lakers big man has gone on one of the best individual runs of his career. His latest was a 70 PRA day that came with a 5x5 boost of ten via 5 steals AND 5 blocks.
