- The final two series of the second round kicked off as Philadelphia traveled to Miami and Phoenix hosted Dallas.
- Of the four teams, only Miami went without a selection on the night.
- Colin chose to conserve what little Pick One resources he had remaining by handing Danny Green his 2021-22 Pick One debut for Game 1. Almost all of his production came in the first half and the multiple-time title winner finished with only 10 PRA in defeat.
- It was a conservative route as well for Matt taking a swing with bench bargain candidate Spencer Dinwiddie. In the end, 15 PRA is better than a blank and at this stage of the game its better than burning a bigger asset.
- File Trevor's Pick One work for the day in the dipshit column. He was forced into Last Man In Chris Paul, one of several Suns he'd been keeping on the shelf all season, after nonchalantly selecting Tim Hardaway Jr. who was all but ruled out for the entirety of the playoffs. Take your 27 PRA and think about the choices you've made.
- Tobias Harris was the leading scorer in the Philly/Miami contest, but his 34 PRA haul was only enough to get Ryan the silver medal for the evening.
- That is because Al got himself the optimal 65 PRA from Dallas' talisman Luka Doncic. But while that is all well and good, in winning our defending champion may have tucked himself into a grave in terms of repeating as once again Doncic fell two assists shy of triggering the Triple Double Down. It was the fourth time this year that Luka couldn't get his backer the triple PRA bonus, breaking a three-way tie at three with Domantas Sabonis and Nikola Jokic.
- Both of the night's bench bargains came from the Heat with Tyler Herro pacing his club with 25 points en route to 33 PRA and Omer Yurtseven leading a weak rookie field with 12 RBPRA.
