- When you fall asleep just before the final tipoff, wake up in a panic and realize you have no Last Man In options, 2 PRA (tied for the veteran low) from a guy signed to a 10-day contract that morning is probably your fate. Welcome to Trevor's evening with the Lakers' Sterling Brown.
- Ryan actually did Last Man In options at his disposal, but didn't have to go past the first step which was Thomas Bryant. The Los Angeles center would double-double for 32 PRA in a win over the Hawks.
- While the battle at the top of the standings remains in decent standing, the one at the bottom is staying intense. Both Lou and Matt stayed in near lock step with one another as the former's pick, Atlanta's De'Andre Hunter, went for 24 PRA versus the Lakers while the latter's, Cleveland's Evan Mobley, went for 25 against the Nuggets.
- That of course leaves our top two scores of the night to come from our top two scorers in the game. Mason Plumlee had a double-double for Colin in Charlotte's blowout win over the Bucks, netting our current silver medalist 38 PRA in 31 minutes.
- But Al was able to push forward further with a big night from Toronto's Fred VanVleet. FVV had his second-best ever day in the Pick One (44 PRA on 1/8/21) with 43 PRA against the Knicks.
- Optimally, Oklahoma City's Jalen Williams found a bit of re-acclimation in the Thunder starting five with 58 RBPRA as his men bested the Wizards.
