- On a night with eleven games to pick from, it was surprising to see such low scores around the horn.
- We start with what seems to now be our customary blank but for the first time in four days it is not coming from Lou. Ryan wasn't eligible to use either Last Men In Anthony Davis or Russell Westbrook leaving him with a zero for the night.
- Lou finally broke his spell of nothingness with the aforementioned Davis, which was nice, until the Lakers big man sprained his ankle after 17 minutes and never returned to LA's game versus Utah. He finished his evening with 21 PRA.
- The Knicks blew a 21 point halftime lead to the Nets but unfortunately for Colin a lot of that second half production came from the bench and not starters like his selection Patty Mills. He shot 2-for-13 from the field against his in-state rivals and ended up with only 12 PRA.
- Matching Davis production-wise was Al's pick Derrick White with 21 PRA against the Pistons. White's selection made it two straight days with a two-club man being selected after CJ McCollum did so yesterday. Also like McCollum, White was also picked out in the process making it the first time all season that we had players picked out on consecutive days.
- Coming in second place for the evening was Trevor's selection Corey Kispert. The Washington rookie has bounced between the starting five and the bench for a large part of this year and neither role has seen him consistently shine. Case in point, he got the start against the depleted Pacers on this night and finished with a rookie-boosted 28 PRA while committing five turnovers and four fouls, the latter figure limiting his aggression on the boards.
- But that means our leader, whose pick was one that was a mixture of nonchalance and panic going into the final tip-off, earned the night's top score with Austin Reaves. The eighth undrafted rookie taken in 2021-22 dished out one more assist than Kispert to take the top spot with 30 rookie-boosted PRA as the Lakers bested the Jazz.
- Optimally, cue the broken record of Lou being the only one left with Josh Giddey, he got another triple-double, he netted 74 rookie-boosted PRA, yada yada yada. Brooklyn's bench was mentioned earlier in terms of their comeback win and Cam Thomas was one of the big sparks in that with his rookie-boosted 54 PRA. Atlanta never trailed Orlando after halfway through the first quarter which allowed veteran bench bargain Bogdan Bogdanovic to play the second most minutes on the squad and register 30 PRA.
