- Christmas Eve Eve had a ton of games in the Association. Yet it was a pair of teammates that took down the top two spots for the evening.
- That team was not the Houston Rockets. Trevor made his fifth Houston selection with Kenyon Martin Jr. While the young Rockets held their own against Dallas, they ultimately lost and Trevor lost the day in the Challenge with just 14 PRA from KJ.
- Cleveland's Jarrett Allen made his 2022-23 Pick One debut with a bit of a dud against the Raptors. Lou only saw the former All-Star record 19 PRA in the defeat.
- Our third yearly debut was Matt's pick Derrick White. The Boston guard was the third scoring amigo to Tatum and Brown in the win over Minnesota, finishing on 26 PRA.
- Bradley Beal is now two selections away from being picked out after netting Al 29 PRA in Washington's win over Sacramento.
- The mystery team of the night was the Charlotte Hornets who produced both the silver and gold medalists. Rocking that second place medal around his neck was Colin with the selection of Terry Rozier. He joined Al in the 2000 PRA club for the season with 33 from Scary Terry in a win over the Lakers.
- But our top scorer and second Hornet was also the night's Last Man In. LaMelo Ball came two assists and two rebounds shy of his second selection triple-double in a week against Los Angeles. Ryan had to "settle" for 39 PRA and a regaining of third place in the overall standings.
- Optimally, Ryan or Lou (who still hasn't taken a rookie as of this day) could have went with Houston's Jabari Smith Jr. against Dallas. He double-doubled for 74 RBPRA including a career-high 24 points.
