- It can only be surmised that everybody in this Challenge was too enamored with the end-to-end action of the NFL Pro Bowl to make a selection before the evening's final two contests.
- Ryan's blank made it five straight days where at least one person took a DNP which extended the record from yesterday.
- New Orleans/Houston was quite the minefield for Trevor to navigate as the lone person who didn't pick from the night's final game and he ended up not being the best sweeper. Devonte' Graham tied for the lowest assist total among Pelicans who recorded at least one helper and ended the night with only 11 PRA in 32 minutes. Since his five day run of top scorers, Trevor has netted just 23 PRA in three days.
- They aren't quite the Kings, but the Clippers sheet is pretty worse for wear after two more selections on the night. Al went the bench route with Serge Ibaka and got 15 PRA for his troubles. Matt made Reggie Jackson the first Clippers player picked out of 2021-22 via the Last Man In provision and got 17 PRA.
- And though it can probably be surmised that Colin and Lou would have rather used Giannis Antetokounmpo on their own terms, they did end up with the top score on the night via the Greek Freak's 43 PRA versus the Clippers.
- Optimally, DeMar DeRozan went for 61 PRA in defeat to Joel Embiid (who "only" had 53 PRA) and the 76ers. Off the bench Norman Powell made his debut for the Clippers with 33 bench PRA which could have boosted Trevor's spirits while Duane Washington Jr. prepped for what may prove to be a busy trade deadline for Indiana with 42 rookie-boosted PRA.
