- This day in the NBA Pick One Challenge was incredibly indicative of how bad of shape the league is at the moment.
- A slew of 10-day hardship contracts were signed over the past week to make up for the growing number of players finding themselves in the protocol (if I've missed one or many on the sheet please let me know) or on the injured list. This has brought some old friends back into the league including Ryan and Colin's pick, Joe Johnson. This wasn't that friendly of a reunion by Pick One standards as Iso Joe only netted the pair a pair of PRA.
- That flop from Johnson softened the blow of Lou chasing Colin and Matt staving off Ryan with a pair of blanks. Neither man had either eligible Last Man In available leaving them with zero PRA.
- On any other day, Trevor could probably feel pretty down about his 23 PRA from Chimezie Metu. But given the circumstances that is something to cheer about even if Metu's Kings were handed yet another defeat by the Clippers.
- So with the lowest top score since Opening Night, Al took home the honors with 26 PRA from Robin Lopez. Orlando's starting center had as many assists as the rest of their starting five combined which shows you the state of the Magic roster at the moment. However, Orlando was able to beat Atlanta despite their nearly brand new team with hardship signings.
- With all this craziness, this blurb remained fairly stagnant. Franz Wagner had a rookie-boosted 60 PRA for optimal score which is nothing new. Neither is Kevin Love (33 PRA) or Alperen Sengun (38 rookie-boosted PRA) taking home Bench Bargain accolades. There may not be as many disturbances in the Pick One force as we think there are.
