- The NBA returned from the All-Star break, but not all of our participants were prepared for the season's second half.
- Half of the field had to utilize the Last Man In provision which on this particular evening netted Colin, Ryan, and Lou Denver's Jeff Green. Even though the Nuggets won going away, the elder statesman of their starting five played the fewest minutes among starters and finished with just 12 PRA.
- Al began his second half conquest for back-to-back NBA Pick One championships by searching for a bench bargain with Memphis' Brandon Clarke. He nearly double-doubled in their loss to Minnesota accumulating 21 PRA on the night. However, that was enough to get Al back into third place by 1 PRA.
- Our lone rookie selected for the evening was Trevor's pick Aaron Wiggins. The expectation of a Phoenix blowout came to fruition but that leading to late garbage time run for Wiggins did not and with the rookie boost he finished with just 26 PRA.
- That was a total that only half way got to our top scorer of the night, Matt with Domantas Sabonis. The newly acquired King, and third player to be picked with two different teams, had 52 PRA against Denver. We all should be thankful though that it wasn't 156 as Matt swung and missed with his Triple Double Down for February. Sabonis is the first player to fall short with the Triple Double Down three times during this campaign. Only Ryan has him left at his disposal.
- Optimally, only Lou could have taken #1 overall pick Cade Cunningham and his 58 rookie-boosted PRA. Tre Mann proved that starting isn't always the best route to make picks through with 44 rookie-boosted PRA off the OKC bench. Bogdan Bogdanovic took advantage of some rough nights for Atlanta starters in getting himself 35 PRA against the Bulls.
