- It was an incredibly rookie-heavy evening in the Pick One with five of the six selections being first-year players.
- Our lone outlier was Al's pick Chimezie Metu. To add insult to injury, the Kings forward missed every single shot from the field and played just 17 minutes despite Sacramento's game with Orlando going to overtime. He finished with only 7 PRA.
- Being a day late and a dollar short continued to be a theme with Colin as you'll read in a little bit. In present times, he earned 26 rookie-boosted PRA from Memphis' Ziaire Williams. His Grizzlies won their 17th of 19 games in which Ja Morant has been sidelined.
- The remainder of the rookies came from the night's final contest, Portland versus Houston. The second half of the back-to-back had three Blazers rookies chosen to one Rocket.
- Keon Johnson was the lowest producer for Portland netting Trevor 32 rookie-boosted PRA with a scoring-but-not-much-else kind of night against the Rockets.
- His backcourt counterpart Brandon Williams became the first undrafted rookie to ever be picked out in the Pick One Challenge after Lou was assigned his Last Man In services to the tune of 54 rookie-boosted PRA.
- Rounding out the Blazer bunch was Matt's selection Trendon Watford. A second double-double for the month of March allowed the former LSU Tiger to bank 60 rookie-boosted PRA for our game leader.
- But the top score went to Ryan who had second-step Last Man In Jalen Green to thank. The #2 overall pick put forth his best selection score of the season with 66 rookie-boosted PRA in victory.
- Optimally, Colin isn't going to like this section too much today. He was the only person eligible to take Davion Mitchell who had 76 rookie-boosted PRA for Sacramento. His pick from yesterday, Alperen Sengun, was the rookie bench bargain just off Mitchell's pace with 74 rookie-boosted PRA. To finish the salt rubbing, De'Anthony Melton, the night's veteran bench bargain, outperformed his Grizzlies selection by a 29-26 margin.
