- Only six playoff spots have been claimed and only four teams have been mathematically eliminated from postseason contention. That leaves a lot of guess work in the Pick One over the next week and change.
- Hopefully that guessing gets better for Colin after his third stab at a Pelicans player left with him with only 5 PRA from Larry Nance Jr. in New Orleans' win over Portland.
- Last Man In Jaden McDaniels quintupled LNJ's nightly output with 25 PRA to pull Ryan closer to exiting the financial relegation zone.
- The first of three rookies taken on the evening was Trevor's pick Ochai Agbaji. The significantly lesser of the two Jazz freshmen taken on the night, the #14 pick finished with 28 RBPRA as Utah fell to Phoenix.
- Dallas' late season swoon has forced many to make tough choices in regards to whether or not to save their stars. Al finally pulled the trigger on Luka Doncic against Indiana and got 38 PRA for the shot.
- Kyrie Irving's presence didn't deter Matt from taking Jaden Hardy in that same game. The second round pick was only behind Luka on the scoresheet but with the rookie bonus ended on 56 RBPRA in the win.
- But taking home the night's top score was Lou as he finally went with Walker Kessler. Had he not collected 8 5x5 points to add on he would have came second on the day, but with that added boost he netted 70 RBPRA against the Suns and became the first rookie picked out in 2022-23.
- Optimally, Ryan could have dragged himself even further out of the basement had he completed the picking out of Detroit's Jaden Ivey who racked up a massive 96 RBPRA versus Milwaukee.
