- The majority of the league got their season started on the second night of the season with 12 games on the schedule. Somehow with all the options we still found some overlap in the Pick One.
- Matt's repeat campaign continued its brutal start with Washington's Deni Avdija. After getting nothing but rebounds from Jonathan Kuminga on Opening Night, Matt got only 4 points from the Wizards wing against Indiana.
- Mikal Bridges (Lou) and the Suns bested Spencer Dinwiddie (Trevor) and the Mavericks both on the court (107-105) and in the Pick One (25 PRA to 21 PRA).
- Scary Terry Rozier put Ryan in second place overall with 36 PRA against San Antonio. His 24 points in victory was his second-highest scoring total during a selection in the three years of the NBA Pick One.
- But the main event of the night in the Challenge was a battle between the last two #1 picks in the NBA Draft. Colin went with last year's top pick, Detroit's Cade Cunningham, and got 29 PRA for his troubles.
- However, Al went with this year's first selection, Orlando's Paolo Banchero, and found himself with the optimal choice for the day. The Duke product had 27 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists in his first NBA contest to further Al's already substantial lead with a rookie-boosted 82 PRA.
