- With less than a week to go in the regular season and all playoff teams set, the race to deplete the best of the non-playoff resources is kicking into another gear.
- This of course doesn't apply Lou who took his fourth straight blank and is all but doomed to financial relegation.
- There was a point in time where the Sacramento Kings were the Pick One punching bag but have been lapped a couple times by other tanking squads. That didn't keep Ryan from handing Damian Jones his second selection of the season and earning 27 PRA in their loss to the Pelicans that secured New Orleans' spot in the play-in.
- Colin must not have much faith in Minnesota's chances of advancing out of said play-in as he went for Anthony Edwards against the Wizards. His return was 28 PRA which for Edwards is fair because it is usually feast or famine with the second year star.
- Trevor and Al tied for the nightly silver medal with a pair of Southwest Division rookies. Al got 30 RBPRA (I'm going to use this shorthand from now on, it took me until now but typing rookie-boosted every time finally now feels tedious) from Oklahoma's Vit Krejci. Trevor watched Houston's Josh Christopher miss his first eight shots against Brooklyn, as well as all of his free throws, yet still pull out 30 RBPRA himself off the bench.
- That means Matt made it back-to-back top scores with the now picked out Anthony Davis. The Lakers were eliminated from the play-in with their loss to the Suns, but AD padded Matt's lead with 35 PRA in defeat.
- Optimally, Jalen Green had his fifth straight 30+ point game en route to 76 RBPRA. Tyler Herro was the veteran bench bargain with a career-high 35 points and 44 PRA. Austin Reaves did the deed for the rookies with 56 RBPRA as the Lakers sailed off into the sunset.
