- There were plenty of triple-doubles to be had on this expansive schedule yet most of us ended up with the night's final game.
- Our lone rookie selected today was useful in further completing lottery usage in the Challenge, but not much more than that for Al. James Bouknight only produced 6 rookie-boosted PRA off the Charlotte bench against the depleted Lakers in a team-low seven minutes.
- That previously cited final game between Bucks/Knicks saw the majority go with the losing side. However, the Last Man In provision gave Lou the assignment of Bobby Portis. For Pick One purposes this was the losing side as Portis had the lowest score of the lot with 11 PRA.
- The pair of Colin and Ryan were only slightly better with their big man, Knicks center Mitchell Robinson. Robinson scored two more points than Portis to finish with 13 PRA in defeat.
- Matt went with the other Knick in Julius Randle. A stalwart of the Pick One a year ago, Randle has become troublesome in picking which day he's going to go off. 23 PRA was good for second place on the night but given the lefty's track record it still feels disappointing. On the bright side, that haul was enough to make Matt the first participant of the season to break 3K PRA.
- But what wasn't disappointing for both San Antonio and Jakob Poeltl was both the evening's real world and Pick One results. The Spurs upset the Bulls and the big man double-doubled his way to top score for Trevor with 36 PRA.
- Optimally, Josh Giddey helped force Oklahoma City's game with Indiana to OT but ultimately fell short. Nevertheless, his rookie-boosted 60 PRA was the best one could do. For bench bargains, you needn't look farther than Los Angeles. Austin Reaves was the Lakers' second-leading scorer versus Charlotte and finished with a rookie-boosted 54 PRA. The Clippers' Luke Kennard led the veteran camp with 32 PRA in their loss to Miami.
