- Load management is one thing for older players. But this season more and more we are seeing one week injuries turn into three week injuries and 22 and 23-year-olds getting back-to-backs off in the NBA.
- Colin was a victim of this trend once again and had to pivot at the eleventh hour to Golden State's Andrew Wiggins. Golden State won comfortably against San Antonio allowing the Warriors to clear their bench and only leave 15 PRA for Wiggins to collect.
- On the other end of that game's coin, Lou saw his selection Keldon Johnson done in by the blowout. The usual four category threat scored 15 of his 17 PRA via points in only 19 minutes in the 37 point defeat.
- Speaking of multiple category threats, Trevor went with Oklahoma City's Josh Giddey against the Celtics. The Thunder would fall short in Boston, but Giddey accumulated 27 PRA in the contest.
- Two players got to 38 PRA for the night, one organically and one with the rookie bonus. Ryan's pick Jalen Green and the Rockets fell to a league-worst 2-12 despite 38 PRA from last year's #2 pick. This year's #9 pick Jeremy Sochan earned 38 RBPRA in that aforementioned Spurs decimation in Golden State. Sochan's bounty made Al the first participant to break the 1000 PRA mark for the season.
- But our top scorer for the day was the lowest picked rookie in the NBA Draft to date. A third start in a row for Bucks rookie MarJon Beauchamp saw him set a career-high in scoring (20) and tie a career-high in rebounds (8) against Atlanta. The 24th overall pick ended with 58 RBPRA for Matt, a very welcome haul in the battle to stay out of the basement.
- Optimally, Jaden Ivey once again finds himself in this spot with 66 RBPRA. After doing so against the Celtics two days ago, the Pistons point guard continued on an unofficial Atlantic Division Route 66 versus Toronto.
