- A tricky thing about light nights in the NBA schedule is that while it whittles down the selection pool for ease of operation, most of the teams on these featured evenings are ones that we will most likely see deep into the playoffs.
- Denver is in first place in the West yet has seen their Pick One scoresheet battered already halfway through the campaign. The latest was Ryan's pick Michael Porter Jr. He was hard-done by the Nuggets blowing out the Clippers and playing just 22 minutes and registering just 15 PRA
- Conversely, the Clippers' playoff position is rapidly dropping as their injuries mount. Indicative of how bad things are on the "other" side of Los Angeles is that Colin's pick Norman Powell was the leading scorer of the bench with a mere 16 PRA against Porter Jr.'s Nuggets.
- The Magic will most certainly not be playing into the early summer months as things stand. That is why their players encompassed half the selection pool for the day. Markelle Fultz was the lone single participant selection by Trevor. The former #1 overall pick had 22 PRA as his team fell to Memphis.
- But it was the double selection from Orlando, along with another player entirely, that occupies the day's top spot. Al and Lou got 25 PRA from Wendell Carter Jr. Matt drew level with a double-double from Dallas' Christian Wood.
- Optimally, both Lou and Matt could have left Al out of the top score equation had either of them taken Paolo Banchero and his 84 RBPRA. Lou is still the only person who has yet to take a single rookie in the Pick One.
