- It was a similar night for scoring in the Pick One as to a few days ago, but this time our top scorer didn't have a new mechanic at their disposal.
- The first of three Juniors taken on the night was Colin's selection Tim Hardaway Jr. None of the Mavs guards really found their shot against Cleveland but THJ was by far the least effective finishing with just 9 PRA in the loss.
- Opposing the younger Hardaway's Mavericks was Matt's pick Ricky Rubio. It was nearly another triple double for Matt off the bench as Rubio ended his +30 winning evening with 20 PRA.
- Lou's Last Man In streak continued with Eric Bledsoe. It was incredibly luckless for our current last place player as Bledsoe's opening bucket on his way to 15 PRA came just 22 seconds before Jonas Valanciunas' opening three-pointer for the Pelicans. Valanciunas would end the contest with a veteran-best 57 PRA.
- Our second Junior was Ryan's selection Wendell Carter Jr. Despite being the low scorer for Magic starters, his 12 rebounds pulled him out of the teens and up to a respectable 22 PRA in their loss to the Sixers.
- Al's selection Jakob Poeltl didn't come close to triple-doubling against the Wizards, but his double-double was more than enough to earn him the evening's silver medal with 26 PRA.
- But all this doubling talk leads to our top scorer of the day, Kevin Porter Jr. The Rockets are on a three-game winning streak and KPJ has been a huge part of it. His teammates helped him get his final rebound for a triple-double in their win over the Thunder. Trevor probably would have been more ecstatic about that fact had he not pissed away his Triple Double Down on a LaMelo Ball dud on November 7th, but a 32 PRA top score will have to do for now.
- Optimally, Franz Wagner had one of the best rookie games of 2021-22 in that aforementioned Orlando loss to Philadelphia. Wagner netted a rookie-boosted 76 PRA against Joel Embiid and company. For Bench Bargains, veteran-wise it was business as usual with Jordan Clarkson outdueling fellow bench standout Anfernee Simons for the honors with 31 PRA. A new challenger approached for the rookies as 18th overall pick Tre Mann went off for a rookie-boosted 50 PRA in Oklahoma City's loss to Houston.
