- Miami and Los Angeles sent New York and Golden State packing in their respective Game 6's. It seems they took all of the day's production with them in the Pick One Challenge.
- Jonathan Kuminga had just 3 PRA off the bench for Colin in Golden State's loss to the Lakers. It was only the second-year man's second selection of the season after being picked out as a rookie.
- Speaking of picking out, Gary Payton II became the seventh (and final) Warriors player to be picked out in 2022-23. The reward for his quartet of backers (including some Last Man In enjoyers) was 7 measly PRA.
- That left Al to take home the sad horn of top scores with 12 PRA from Golden State substitute Moses Moody. The 12 PRA broke the dubious record for lowest top score set by Jarrett Allen (16 PRA) in last season's Play-In tourney.
- Optimally, Matt took a chance that may pay off in the later rounds by keeping the day's best possible scorer, Bam Adebayo (33 PRA) in his back pocket.
