- The 23rd Sacramento King selection was made on the evening and it went uncharacteristically poorly for Al and Richaun Holmes. Fresh off a double-double and a 27 point outing, Holmes scored just one point in their win over the Clippers and finished with 10 PRA.
- Lonzo Ball nearly had a triple-double against the Nets and hit a late-game dagger, but for Pick One purposes Colin was hoping for more than single-digit outputs in every category and a finishing tally of 24 PRA.
- Marcus Smart and the Celtics ran roughshod over the battered Blazers but as in every blowout the starters gave way to the bench pretty early and Smart despite shooting 60% from the floor ended with just 23 PRA.
- Paul George was the Last Man In for the third time this year with this occasion being for Lou. Despite having a rough day from the field (5-for-21) he somehow willed himself to 31 PRA in LA's loss to the Kings.
- The Mavericks continued their struggles sans Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis, but Ryan's pick Tim Hardaway Jr. shouldered the scoring load against Memphis with 36 PRA off the bench. He was the day's Bench Bargain on the veteran side of things.
- While Marcus Smart saw his minutes drop as the score got out of hand, Matt's pick Dennis Schroder got plenty of run with the second unit and ended the contest with the top score of 43 PRA. He is the second Celtics player this year to earn top score.
- Optimally, Nikola Jokic was the best bet in the afternoon tip-off against the Knicks. The reigning NBA MVP had 48 PRA against the struggling Knicks in just 27 minutes. There wasn't much to choose from in terms of rookie Bench Bargains, but Chicago's Ayo Dosunmu had a "quiet" rookie-boosted 28 PRA against Brooklyn.
