- The 9/10 games were much less bountiful than the 7/8 ones to say the least. Notably for the Pick One though we had our second straight two pick out evening.
- Charlotte was run off the court in the second half against Atlanta. Even with a massive deficit, the Hornets bench didn't get much as much burn as Trevor was hoping. His selection Montrezl Harrell only put up 12 PRA in 16 minutes.
- That had to make Matt feel better about the first man picked out on the night Miles Bridges. He wasn't having himself an all-time classic before getting ejected and petulantly flinging his mouthpiece into the crowd, but 20 PRA is better than 12 in regards to the title hunt.
- Colin's bench bargain hunting even went better as he got 16 PRA from Bogdan Bogdanovic. Atlanta emptied their entire bench and Bogey was still able to get 25 minutes out of it.
- Our second picked out player of the evening, and only selection from outside the Eastern Conference Play-In, was Ryan's pick Dejounte Murray. Murray's Spurs went quietly into that good night against the Pelicans and the oft-triple doubling guard went meekly as well by his standards with 30 PRA.
- That leaves the top score honors to be bestowed upon Al via Trae Young. It wasn't Young's best postseason performance (8-for-24 shooting, 1-for-7 from 3) but did a lot to get his teammates involved and in the end Al netted 38 PRA from Ice Trae as the Hawks advanced to play Cleveland on Friday night.
- Optimally, only the blanking Lou could have taken New Orleans' Jonas Valanciunas and his 39 PRA. He'll have at least one more chance on Friday night to do so. As for bench bargains, Jose Alvarado was the lone rookie to get significant playing time across the two play-in games and finished with 32 RBPRA. For the veterans the pickings were even slimmer as Atlanta's Delon Wright benefited from the aforementioned flood gates opening in Atlanta with 17 PRA.
