- Only three unique selections were made on Boxing Day as the Christmas hangover forced five of the six participants into the realm of the Last Man In.
- The lone outlier was Trevor with Chicago's Nikola Vucevic. It was a game to forget for the Bulls big man as not only did his club lose to Houston, he finished with just 17 PRA despite playing 29 minutes.
- Anfernee Simons was picked out for the first time in his Pick One career and was the fifth man to have the selection process run its course in 2022-23. Both Colin and Matt Last Man In'ed the Blazers guard for 22 PRA in a win over Charlotte.
- But making his season debut with a top score was San Antonio's Jakob Poeltl. Al, Lou, and Ryan had to all go to step three of the Last Man In provision to net themselves 27 PRA from the Spurs center in a win over the Jazz.
- Optimally, two-thirds of the field could have earned 58 RBPRA from Detroit's Jalen Duren as he double-doubled against the Clippers.
