- The 7/8 round of the NBA Play-In took place as the Nets hosted the Cavaliers in the East and the Timberwolves welcomed the Clippers in the West. Only the Nets didn't earn a selection on the night.
- We saw two blanks come from night one of the postseason with one expected and one unfortunate. Unsurprisingly, Lou didn't have either Last Man In option available. Neither did Colin though as with Brandon Boston Jr. not playing he had to take a zero himself.
- The Cavaliers were the team du jour for the Play-In garnering selections from two of the top three participants on different ends of the Pick One spectrum. Al handed Caris LeVert his Pick One debut for the season for 26 PRA while Matt completed the picking out of Darius Garland for 40 PRA.
- Unlike Colin and Lou, Ryan did have an eligible Last Man In and it was the only selection from a winning team on the night. Anthony Edwards' Wolves booked themselves a date with the Grizzlies but the former #1 overall pick could only book himself a third place daily finish in the Pick One with 37 PRA.
- That leaves Trevor to take home top score with the second player picked out on the day, LA's Paul George. The fifth Clippers player to be picked out in 2021-22 scored a game-high 34 points en route to 46 PRA in defeat.
- Optimally, Trevor could have earned two more PRA had he taken Kyrie Irving against the Cavs. He double-doubled for 48 PRA in setting up a blood feud rematch with the Celtics in the first round proper. In terms of bench bargains, there weren't any eligible rookies via picking out or DNP's but Kevin Love repped the vets with his own double-double of 28 PRA.
