- Game 3 went great for our Challenge participants fan-wise as two-thirds of the field saw Boston win in convincing fashion. In the Challenge though, the results were not as appealing.
- Trevor saw all zeroes for the second time this postseason, both times from a Warriors player. This time it was former Finals MVP Andre Iguodala getting nothing in garbage time as a punt to converse assets for potential elimination games. Those games may not matter though after this brutal blank.
- Gary Payton II went from making all of his shots from the field and missing all his free throws in Game 2 to doing the opposite in Game 3 as he netted Ryan just 4 PRA off the bench.
- Boston's bench didn't run too deep in Game 3 but Al's pick Grant Williams did bounce back to score more points in Game 3 than he did in Games 1 & 2 combined to finish with 15 PRA. In the process, Williams became the fifth person currently on the Celtics roster (Derrick White was picked out in San Antonio) to be picked out this season.
- And all but sealing things up, barring one final Triple Double Down salvo, was Matt with 36 PRA from Marcus Smart. Falling one point, rebound, or assist short of tying Stephen Curry for the day's optimal score, Smart was the antithesis of what he was in Game 2 despite still turning the ball over five times.
