- Miami and Phoenix blew out their respective opponents to each go up 3-2 in their series.
- Both games saw selection representation but only Philadelphia went without a pick between the two.
- It was a brutal night on the court and in the Pick One for the Mavericks as both of the lowest non-blank scores of the evening came from them. Trevor's pick Dorian Finney-Smith crashed back to Earth after his breakout Game 4 with just 13 PRA in 37 minutes. Ryan's selection Maxi Kleber had his lowest point total of the series and ended with just 10 PRA off the bench.
- Finney-Smith's desurgence (not a word) was news to Matt's ears as he saw Tyler Herro have his own less than stellar showing in Miami's thrashing of Philly. He wasn't bad per se but when you are up 30 for an extended period of time you pull back the reins a bit and your best bench guy ends up with 15 PRA.
- Being up a million didn't limit the earning potential of Al's pick Devin Booker. He played the most minutes for Phoenix on the night and had a team-high 37 PRA in the win.
- Being down a million didn't hamper Last Man In Luka Doncic either. Our top and optimal scorer finally got that first bucket of the game for Lou en route to 41 PRA while finally being picked out.
- While Herro didn't get his normal bench bargain crown, Victor Oladipo did with 19 PRA for the Heat. Dueling rooks Omer Yurtseven and Jaden Springer each had 10 RBPRA off their respective benches.
