- All three series on the night were closed out. With that we say goodbye to Toronto, New Orleans, and Utah.
- .With their advancement, Dallas was the only team to go without a single selection during the first round among all sixteen teams.
- Toronto had the meekest exit of the three going home on the night, and it showed with two of their selections in the Pick One. OG Anunoby earned Ryan just 6 PRA with his second lowest scoring game of the season. Gary Trent Jr. did better for Trevor with 21 PRA, but it was his third game this series where one of the PRA categories had a big fat zero in it. GTJ was one of two Raptors players picked out on the evening.
- For the second time this postseason, the Last Man In came good for a second straight day for Lou. Mike Conley's Jazz had a chance to win it at the buzzer, but as it stands the 23 PRA the point guard put up is the last we'll see of him in the Challenge.
- The other Jazz guard to be selected on the night was Al's pick Donovan Mitchell. Spida nearly triple-doubled in his last game of the year netting our current bronze medalist 40 PRA in the defeat. Despite being a talented playoff team both years, for the second straight year we didn't have a single Jazz player picked out.
- Joel Embiid represented the only selection that came from an advancing team. Colin got a double-double and 44 PRA from the league's leading scorer for the evening's second place prize.
- But continuing to assert his superiority was Matt with the second Raptor picked out of the night, Scottie Barnes. The lone rookie taken and optimal scorer overall, the NBA Rookie of the Year went for 56 RBPRA in 35 minutes. Barnes was the fourth top ten pick to be picked out and tenth rookie overall to earn the requisite six selections.
- Your bench bargains for the evening also won't be seen again this postseason. Toronto's Chris Boucher double-doubled for 35 PRA while New Orlean's Jose Alvarado pipped him by one PRA (36 RBPRA) with the rookie bonus.
