- All three of the night's games saw usage. We also said goodbye to last season's most picked out team, the Atlanta Hawks. Those Hawks were one of two teams to not have a selection along with the Grizzlies.
- New Orleans went down 3-2 to Phoenix in their series and their lone selection for the evening came in the form of Larry Nance Jr. The twelfth man to be selected for two different clubs this year earned Ryan just 10 PRA off the Pelicans bench.
- In an attempt to conserve his Suns and Heat options, Matt handed Patrick Beverley his 2021-22 Pick One debut against the Grizzlies. It was another game of squandered opportunities for the Timberwolves, but Matt was able to mitigate the charges on his lead enough with Pat Bev's 18 PRA.
- With Jimmy Butler sitting for Game 5 against the Hawks, Colin made another first time selection for this season in Heat guard Victor Oladipo. He led the victors in scoring, finishing with 27 PRA in total.
- The panic was palpable for both our second and third place players heading into Phoenix/New Orleans Game 5. Al made the selection of Deandre Ayton as a calculated risk pick and netted 31 PRA in the process. Only Trevor has the center left at his disposal.
- Speaking of Trevor, he ended up with top score of 38 PRA with the other Suns player taken on the night, Mikal Bridges. Bridges made it four straight days with a picked out player in the Challenge. With the Last Man In provision, the Suns have been battered in the Pick One all season leaving those who ducked those Suns assignments sitting pretty come the spring. However, if New Orleans can somehow even send this series to seven games, there is going to be some serious sweating.
- Optimally, both the best scorer from the starting lineups and bench came from the Memphis Grizzlies. Ja Morant willed Memphis finishing one assist shy of a triple-double and 52 PRA. Brandon Clarke had 39 PRA off the pine including a massive nine offensive rebounds almost all leading to second chance buckets. Jose Alvarado was the only rookie of substance in any of the three games with 26 RBPRA for the Pelicans.
