- Of the four games on the day, only the instant classic between Boston and Brooklyn was left without a selection.
- Kyle Lowry was handed his 2021-22 Pick One debut by Al in Miami's blowout win over the Hawks. This was your classic playoff blowout bench emptier so it wasn't surprising to see Lowry come away with only 23 PRA.
- Matt went with the lone rookie on the day and hit the rookie bench bargain with New Orleans' Trey Murphy III. In the regular season a 24 RBPRA score wouldn't be anything to write home about but in the playoffs getting above 20 with a rookie is a big deal.
- The Bulls never really got out of first gear against the Bucks and the same can kind of be said for our only double selection of the day, DeMar DeRozan. 32 PRA is a decent return but Trevor and Ryan were definitely expecting more from the probable All-NBA selection. This is especially more worrying that DeRozan usually bounces back very well after subpar performances and game leader Matt is the only one left with him at their disposal.
- This feels weird but for the second straight day Lou is in the top score blurb, this time all by his lonesome. Usually finding himself at the top of the recap lamenting how he had no Last Man In eligibility (a mantle taken by Colin for this day), Lou got 46 PRA from Jonas Valanciunas after finally lucking his way into the Pelicans center and completing his picking out. Fun side note, despite not manually making a pick since November 16th, Lou has the three highest rebounding games in the Pick One including Jonas' 25 rebounds against the Suns which is the highest total of the year.
- Optimally, Trevor could have traded in DeRozan for Kyrie Irving who put up 50 PRA in Brooklyn's loss to the Celtics. Duncan Robinson hit a bunch of threes (read it like LFO) en route to 28 PRA for the Heat in victory.
