- We'll begin our festive day of basketball with the day's final game which saw Lou grant Franky Smokes his Pick One Debut as the Last Man In for the Mavericks against the Jazz, standing in for Luka Doncic. The Frenchman netted 23 PRA which on most days wouldn't be as terrible as it ended up being today.
- Payton Pritchard got Ryan a hefty 26 PRA as the last man off the Boston bench, but the nearly full-strength Bucks were too much in the end coming back to beat the C's.
- It feels weird to have someone who got a triple-double not even be in the top three scorers but Matt's pick Kemba Walker did just that with 32 PRA in New York's win over the Hawks. Twice in search of that elusive tenth rebound one of Walker's teammates grabbed the board only to immediately give the Homer Simpson "D'oh" expression on camera. Unfortunately for Matt, he did not use his Triple Double Down for this one.
- The honor of top score for the Knickerbockers fell to Al's pick Julius Randle. He looked like the Randle of a season ago against the depleted Hawks going for 40 PRA while shooting 67% from three-point range.
- But the Knicks weren't the only New York team with multiple selections on Christmas Day. The Nets had both of their selections finish 1-2 in the day's Pick One standings with the silver medalist being Trevor's selection Patty Mills. He hit 8 threes, a new X-Mas standard, en route to 43 PRA in victory over the Lakers.
- Our top scorer however was Colin who got the second triple-double in the Pick One for the day with James Harden. The Beard had himself a Merry Little Christmas with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving still in protocols going for the optimal score of 56 PRA including four game-sealing free throws.
- Carmelo Anthony (32 PRA) would have been the Bench Bargain for veterans had he not been picked out completely so that honor fell to Bobby Portis who had 30 PRA in Milwaukee's comeback win. For rookies, Quentin Grimes got off twelve threes, making five, on his way to a rookie-boosted 38 PRA for the Knicks.
