- The non-playoff teams are set in the East while the West still has a couple still vying for the final play-in spot.
- With that being said, all five selections (Lou had a blank on the night) came from two teams who have had their lottery tickets punched for over two weeks.
- Indiana has been trading their scoring spurts among their backup bigs over the past few weeks. Unfortunately for Colin, this was not rookie Isaiah Jackson's turn in the rotation as he netted just 14 rookie-boosted PRA off the pine against Boston.
- A survive and advance mentality was running through Matt's head as he went with the safer Pacer selection in Oshae Brissett. He didn't have the best shooting night, missing all of his two-point shots, but still managed to earn our game leader 24 PRA in defeat.
- Oklahoma City's lone non-rookie selection on the night came from Ryan with Isaiah Roby. An emptying of the non-playoff coffers has made the gap between double pay and the standard fee over 300 PRA after Roby's 28 PRA night against Detroit.
- Olivier Sarr was one of two rookies selected off the bench against Detroit. Trevor got 36 rookie-boosted PRA from the rangy seven-footer but was left wanting more seeing that...
- Al's selection Lindy Waters III was the evening's top scorer and tied for rookie bench bargain with Denver's Bones Hyland. OKC's recent shutdown of nearly half of their active roster combined with some unfortunate illnesses left LW3 to get off 12 shots against the equally tanking Pistons, second most on the team, en route to 50 rookie-boosted PRA.
- Optimally, a blank could have been Jalen Green and his 84 rookie-boosted PRA. Completing the tank summit against Green's Rockets was veteran bench bargain Donte DiVincenzo with 37 PRA for the Kings. The Pick One and the final eight games of the NBA season are best friends.
