- Only two of the four games on the night saw usage, the first and the last.
- Julius Randle missed his third game of the season against Atlanta which led many to believe, including Colin, that the majority of those minutes would go to Taj Gibson. Obi Toppin got the start but Gibson played just four less minutes. In the end though, Toppin doubled Gibson's PRA production with the latter only netting 10 PRA in the loss.
- The Clippers lost their fourth in a row and once again their starters were incredibly ineffective. So naturally Trevor chose one of those starters in Nicolas Batum who produced just 16 PRA in only 19 minutes.
- There was a significant leap to the next highest score as it was more than the bottom two combined. Al's pick Aaron Gordon filled the stat sheet against the Clippers to end his evening with 29 PRA and his team regaining a one game buffer between themselves and the play-in tournament.
- Two men went the Last Man In route on the night to a varied degree of success to say the least. Lou blanked after failing to be eligible for either step of the provision while Ryan earned himself 50 PRA from the second step man and reigning NBA MVP Nikola Jokic.
- But taking down his second consecutive top score, and the optimal score for the day overall, was Matt with Trae Young. The Ice Man's return to MSG was as fruitful as one would have thought it would have been. He scored 45 points en route to 54 PRA as the Knicks tripped over themselves time and time again allowing the Hawks to put the final nail in their playoff hope coffin.
- Bench bargains came from the same clubs as our top two scorers with Atlanta's Bogdan Bogdanovic piling on 39 PRA to the Knicks' woes while Bones Hyland had 42 rookie-boosted PRA in damning Los Angeles to another L.
