- There was a bit of return to normalcy in this evening's scoring but there are still firmly in a position of frustration as the calendar flips to March.
- After a week-long run as a starter in Cleveland, Brandon Goodwin's return to the bench meant bad things for Al. Goodwin did not score in 11 minutes and ended a loss to the Hornets with only 4 PRA.
- Ryan continued to feel the pain that is selecting Jimmy Butler in the Pick One Challenge. After a 3 PRA All-Star Game, Butler barely put up a triple-single, never mind a triple-double, with 11 PRA in Miami's loss to the Bucks. The search for a non-Matt Triple Double Down still continues.
- Speaking of Matt, his original selection Justise Winslow did not suit up for Portland so he fell into the hands of the Last Man In along with Lou. That ended up being second step option Landry Shamet who had himself a 16 PRA night in Phoenix's blowout victory over Winslow's Blazers.
- Continuing to creep his way up the table is Colin who had better times with his selected Cavalier, Jarrett Allen. He double-doubled for 29 PRA in his first selection of 2021-22. It was his sixth double-double in his last 11 games with two of those non-double doubles falling one rebound short.
- That leaves the top score tree to be sat under by Trevor with his pick Malcolm Brogdon. Brogdon's selection was his first since November and marked the 10th different Pacer (with Tyrese Haliburton now on the Indiana scoresheet) used by Trevor this year. He had 50 PRA as Indiana won the second leg of a back-to-back with the Magic.
- Optimally, it was another rookie that only Lou has access to that took home the best possible score of the night. This time it was Orlando's Franz Wagner who had 70 rookie-boosted PRA against Brogdon's Pacers. Joining him in the final blurb was an old face, Tyler Herro with his 42 PRA off the Miami bench, and a new one, Portland's Trendon Watford who had 52 rookie-boosted PRA in extended run.
