- It was a day of missed opportunities and forced pivoting in the Pick One Challenge.
- With both James Harden and Joel Embiid sitting out against Miami, it wasn't insane to think that Tobias Harris would pick up the majority of the scoring load in their stead. That is what Trevor thought before the 36 million dollar man took fewer shots than Georges Niang and finished with 28 PRA, the low bar for the evening. His Sixers won though so he probably couldn't give a shit about it.
- Four participants ended up with Dallas' Dwight Powell who nearly had himself a perfect shooting night against the Timberwolves. Al and Colin found themselves assigned the big man after their picks did not play while Ryan and Lou went the old-fashioned Last Man In route of letting the fates decide. Powell was one missed free throw away from that aforementioned spotless shooting game and earned his backers 32 PRA in a much-needed victory.
- That of course left Matt to widen the gap at the top of the table with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. SGA had his 10th 30+ point game since returning at the end of February and ended his night against Boston with 41 PRA. To the surprise of nobody, only Lou has the Thunder star still left to pick.
- Optimally, Colin was one day off with his pick of Tre Mann as the OKC rookie had 92 rookie-boosted PRA against the Celtics. Only Ryan was eligible to take him on this night. Ayo Dosunmu's return to the Chicago bench put him immediately back in the rookie bench bargain conversation with 38 rookie-boosted PRA while Spencer Dinwiddie and Shake Milton tied for the veteran honors with 31 PRA apiece.
