- As the push towards the playoffs and the lottery begins, teams are beginning to use rest days more and more and give some names that were off everybody's radar a month ago some serious run.
- Colin and Al continue to trade third place back and forth. On this night, the former fell back a spot in the standings after Immanuel Quickley's run of four games with 20+ PRA came to an end as the guard could only muster 17 in New York's loss to the Grizzlies.
- Josh Christopher provided Al 44 rookie-boosted PRA against Dallas to bring him back onto the Pick One podium. He tied for the team-high on the night with 17 points off the bench.
- Matt was on the hunt for his own bench bargain in the form of Markelle Fultz. The former #1 overall pick didn't quite get to the top of the bench bargain heap against Minnesota, but ended with a solid 24 PRA.
- Two players were picked out from the evening's final game, the first being Ryan's pick Kristaps Porzingis. The sixth player to earn selections from two different teams double-doubled for 30 PRA in his final selection of the 2021-22 Challenge.
- One pick away from being picked out is where Last Man In Corey Kispert currently stands. Lou got 46 rookie-boosted PRA from the 15th overall pick in the Draft, his highest total during a selection this season to date. Only Colin has him left to pick.
- That leaves the top score in the hands of the second player picked out on the night, Trevor's pick LeBron James. While he did not fulfill the Triple Double Down prophecy, LeBron had himself a hell of a night with 63 PRA to carry the Lakers past the Wizards.
- Our optimal scorer was one that falls under that under the radar status I talked about in the opening. Trey Murphy III had 32 points off the Pelicans bench to finish with 86 rookie-boosted PRA against the Hornets. At 17th overall in this past draft, he is the highest pick yet to be selected in the 2021-22 Pick One Challenge. The veteran bench bargain was an afterthought of Houston and Boston's deal at the deadline. Bruno Fernando had his second career double-double, and first since January 2020, netting 27 PRA in the process.
