- A good old fashioned chase day was upon us as the frigid conditions of the Northeast translated over to the Pick One scoreboard.
- Trevor became the latest participant to earn a dubious blank after face-planting on both of the two steps of the Last Man In provision. That leaves Al as the only man not to take a single blank all season long.
- Matt got creative when he missed tip-off for the Dallas/Philadelphia but Josh Green rewarded his ingenuity by missing his one shot in 18 minutes and finishing with just 8 PRA.
- Completing the terrible trinity at the top of the table was Al who was his pick Kevin Porter Jr. play just 11 minutes against his Spurs ending that less than a quarter of play with a minuscule 9 PRA.
- After Matt handed him his season debut the day prior, Colin went with Toronto's OG Anunoby and it was the third actual selection on the day that didn't break 10 points scored. The Hawks bested Atlanta but OG needed strong rebounding numbers to pull him to 22 PRA in the end.
- That leaves our two players that actually were able to activate the Last Man In to take home top score honors. Lou and Ryan found their assignment in Portland's Anfernee Simons. He was Portland's top performer with 28 PRA but it still couldn't stop the Blazers from their fourth straight loss, including a second straight to Oklahoma City.
- Optimally, Indiana's deficiencies in the front court allowed Terry Taylor to once again pull down the best possible score of a rookie-boosted 80 PRA. With most of those names rumored to be back as soon as the next couple of days, we may have collectively missed the boat on the "Terrific One." For bench bargains, Kevin Love had 35 off the bench for Cleveland to lead all veterans while Cam Thomas had himself more than that before the rookie bonus even kicked in, ending Brooklyn's deflating loss to Utah with 72 rookie-boosted PRA.
