- With the All-Star Weekend nearly upon us, the big names had their foot on the gas one final time before coasting into the mid-season celebration.
- Lou has been a particularly poor coast lately though in the Pick One as he was forced to blank for the fourth consecutive day having already used both Ivica Zubac and Terance Mann.
- Recently acquired Pacers forward Jalen Smith, the only lottery pick from last year to not see a single use despite his team going to the NBA Finals, got picked by both Al and Trevor in Indiana's loss to the Bucks. He played the fewest minutes among starters yet still scraped out 21 PRA.
- With their own flurry of moves, New Orleans seems poised to give being playoff spoilers a go. That turnover may come at the cost of some below-standard outings from guys already in house like Matt's pick Brandon Ingram. 26 PRA against Memphis isn't brutal but with new mouths to feed sometimes these things will happen.
- One of those new mouths was Ryan's selection CJ McCollum. The first man to be selected on two different teams and the eleventh player overall to be picked out went for 43 PRA in the Pelicans' defeat to Memphis.
- That leaves the honors of our top score of the night ready to be bestowed upon Colin and his selection Jayson Tatum. The C's won their ninth straight in a complete annihilation of the 76ers and Tatum had a team-high 46 PRA in the win.
- Optimally, Matt was the only participant eligible to select Cleveland's Evan Mobley and his 72 rookie-boosted PRA performance against the Hawks. Many more could have had his teammate Kevin Love and his 30 PRA, the evening's veteran bench bargain. You wouldn't even have to leave the division for the rookie bench bargain in Indiana's Terry Taylor who had himself 42 rookie-boosted PRA against Milwaukee.
