- It was a day of disappointment in the Pick One Challenge even though some of our top performers ended up with decent outings.
- For the first time this season we had three participants blank on the evening with Orlando providing little help to Lou, Ryan, and Trevor. The latter two were hard done by late injury scratches for Brooklyn's LaMarcus Aldridge and Los Angeles' Norman Powell.
- Colin was a bit luckier with the Last Man In provision as he was the only man that had both the first and second step options available for Orlando. Cole Anthony ended up as his assignment and en route to becoming the tenth man picked out for 2021-22 netted 24 PRA in their loss to Phoenix.
- Coby White is usually in the bench bargain realm of the Pick One Challenge, but in a spot start he was able to snare 30 PRA for Matt as the Bulls held off the Thunder.
- And while he may have the top score, it has to be disappointing for Al to see LaMelo Ball fall short of triggering his February Triple Double Down. A fourth quarter scoring spurt saved his blushes further and pushed him into the nightly top spot, but his 31 PRA was very far away from a triple-double and even more painful given the amount of triple-doubles that occurred on the night.
- Optimally, Orlando drove the dagger in further with Jalen Suggs being the best possible scorer with 72 rookie-boosted PRA. Montrezl Harrell continues to make himself at home in his new home of Charlotte producing 31 PRA off the Hornet bench. Cam Thomas doesn't seem to be frazzled by the situation in Brooklyn as he once again filled it up off the bench to the tune of 60 rookie-boosted PRA.
