- It is the start of a new month which means the Triple Double Down resets for all participants. Nobody used it on this night though.
- However, for the fourth time in five days multiple people used the Last Man In with that being Kyrie Irving against the Suns. Colin, Lou, and Ryan earned 33 PRA from the Nets point guard even though his side ultimately lost. It should also be noted that Irving was the second step LMI because all three had already taken first step LMI Jae Crowder.
- Always a potentially risky proposition, maybe the Last Man In could have been the path for either Al or Matt on the night. Both of their selections combined for 23 PRA with Al's pick Gabe Vincent (7 PRA) struggling in Miami's starting lineup while Matt's man Lonnie Walker IV (16 PRA) couldn't find a rhythm off the bench.
- Nevertheless, Trevor made up massive amounts of ground heading into the new month with a rest day shuffle from Golden State's Moses Moody. Golden State has not been shy about mass rest days on the second half to back-to-backs and Moody came good with a starting opportunity with a rookie-boosted 56 PRA in the Warriors' win over San Antonio. Trey Murphy III at 17 is now the earliest draft pick so far to not garner a selection this season.
- Optimally, Giannis Antetokounmpo had himself a massive triple-double en route to 59 PRA in Milwaukee's win over the bottoming out Wizards. For bench bargains, we're reaching broken record territory when it comes to Lou and unused rookies as he is the only man left with Jonathan Kuminga, who went for a rookie-boosted 50 PRA on this night, left to select. While Giannis and Kuminga are regulars in this blurb, Taurean Prince surely is quite the opposite. That is what makes his 34 PRA off the Minnesota bench feel that much more jarring.
