- This will be a short recap as we had a rare occurrence for the Pick One that envelopes most of the selecting field.
- De'Andre Hunter's 2021-22 Pick One debut didn't go as planned for Al as the oft-out Hawks forward only netted him 12 PRA in Atlanta's loss to San Antonio.
- Ryan continued his hunt for the ultimate bench bargain with Chicago's Coby White and came fairly close with 29 PRA as the Bulls bested the Timberwolves.
- And with that we are already at the top score section of the recap because for the second time in the short history of the NBA Pick One Challenge three separate players, across four participants, tied for the evening's best total. Trae Young (Colin), Robert Williams (Matt), and Wendell Carter Jr. (Lou/Trevor) all ended their nights with 33 PRA. Oddly enough the last time this happened back on December 15th, all three players tied at the top also had 33 PRA to their names.
- But all of this hubbub could have been avoided if just somebody had gone with San Antonio's Dejounte Murray who went for 57 PRA with his triple-double against the Hawks. Hell, even the bench bargains would have put you over the top as Hassan Whiteside went for 34 of the Jazz bench and Josh Primo had a rookie-boosted 36 in the same contest as Murray.
