- As both the All-Star Game and trade deadline approach, teams are beginning to test out new lineups and rotations to prepare themselves for what may be new look rosters in the season's second half.
- Boston has been using an especially deep rotation with not many guys getting regular DNP's which prompted Ryan to go for the deep cut that is Josh Richardson. Sadly he only got 14 PRA for this big swing despite the Celtics winning by 30 against Miami.
- Andrew Wiggins is one of presumably several Warriors heading to Cleveland for the All-Star Game at the end of the month. After Al took him for 31 PRA against the Rockets, only our top two players have the voted starter left to pick.
- Only two participants (Al & Trevor) have Wiggins' teammate Klay Thompson left after Colin selected him for 20 PRA in his tenth game back. Thompson is one of six Warriors that has been used by 67% of the playing field.
- In that same game Matt got back into a solid scoring groove with a double-double from Houston's Kevin Porter Jr. He had 29 PRA on this night with his first double-double of 2022.
- Last Man In CJ McCollum earned Lou 31 PRA on a night where Portland couldn't get anything going against Oklahoma City. The combo guard scored over 25% of the Blazers points in a game that turned from cruising victory to crushing defeat real quick.
- Unsurprisingly, our top scorer of the day was the lone rookie selection. Davion Mitchell got the start for Sacramento against the Knicks and went for 50 rookie-boosted PRA for Trevor in spite of falling in decisive fashion at Madison Square Garden.
- Optimally, it was a big night for Pacers rookies. Isaiah Jackson stepped up in the absence of Domantas Sabonis and put up 72 rookie-boosted PRA against the Clippers in victory. Terry Taylor added another name to a lengthy list of Pacers rookies in this blurb with 50 rookie-boosted PRA on the second unit. Alec Burks rounded out the bench bargains by leading the way with 30 bench PRA for the Knicks.
