- It was on pace to be one of the worst regular season night's in Pick One history until the last of the Last Men In kept our head above water in the Pick One pool.
- Cameron Thomas has not been kind two his two selectors thus far. He produced his second single-digit output, this time for Al, with just 8 rookie-boosted PRA in Brooklyn's loss to the Lakers.
- The person who chose Thomas last, Colin, didn't fare better with a victor from that particular game. Anthony Davis returned from a lengthy injury spell and was handled with kid gloves by both coaches and teammates. Add in some foul trouble and a 12 PRA night reared its ugly head.
- There was nothing but ugliness for the Kings as no starter registered double-digit points in their 53 point blowout loss to the Celtics. Tyrese Haliburton was the best you could have done if you picked a Kings player, which Ryan did in making him the fourth player picked out, earning 19 PRA.
- San Antonio was on the right side of a 30 point massacring of the Rockets which wasn't news to Trevor's ears. Taking their foot off the gas meant just 27 minutes fairly Summer League-y minutes for Keldon Johnson who ended his night with 21 PRA.
- On the first step of the Last Man In Lounge we found Matt with Kristaps Porzingis. The repeatedly hit-or-miss Mavericks big man unfortunately missed on this night with just 17 PRA in a 38 point Mavs loss to the Warriors.
- Earning top score on the second step of that provision was Lou via Stephen Curry. Curry's first selection of the season was an underwhelming one with a pedestrian 34 PRA by his lofty standards but given the rest of the field for the evening it seems Herculean.
- But if only Lou had actually made a pick he could have went with Cade Cunningham who became the first non-Triple Double Down 100 PRA score with his rookie-boosted effort of that exact amount against Denver. For bench bargains, Luke Kennard ended his 39 PRA night off the bench with a four-point play to bring the Clippers completely back from 35 down against Washington. James Bouknight didn't have similar heroics against Toronto, but he did have a rookie-boosted 42 PRA to pace bench freshmen.
