- There were massive scores to be had in almost every game on the night, yet the distraction of the NFL Divisional Weekend was very evident as we avoided all of the really big hits.
- Matt wisely chose somebody going up against the Pistons in Denver's Monte Morris. However, it was the Nuggets' frontcourt that did the most of the heavy lifting in victory leaving Morris with just 13 PRA in 30 minutes.
- Al's selection also tasted victory as Anfernee Simons found a level of coexistence with the returning CJ McCollum. He ended Portland's win over Toronto with 27 PRA.
- Three participants ended up needing the Last Man In provision on the night with Trevor, Colin, and Lou all earning the assignment of Utah's Bojan Bogdanovic. Despite playing through several ailments, the Jazz forward powered his way to 30 PRA and nearly had the game-winner that rimmed out to give Golden State the dub.
- That means our evening's top scorer was from a daytime tip as Ryan netted himself 31 PRA via Ivica Zubac. It was Zubac's third straight double-double after going nearly a month without one.
- Optimally, Jayson Tatum would have been your best bet on the back of a double-double, including a season-high 51 points, and an end tally of 68 PRA. While a Boston player was the top scorer, it was a man named Boston, Brandon Boston Jr. who was the rookie bench bargain with a rookie-boosted 34 PRA for the Clippers. Moritz Wagner was the second unit standout for the veterans with 29 PRA in a rare Orlando victory.
