- We had our most beneficial use of the Last Man In provision in any of the Challenges on this day.
- That pick came from the Phoenix Suns which had four of the six selections made. The least successful of those came from our most successful selector thus far in 2022-23. Al only saw 6 PRA on the scoresheet from Suns reserve Jock Landale in a comeback win over the Pelicans.
- Trevor made the selection of Mikal Bridges while Ryan joined him with the second step of the Last Man In after previously selecting the day's optimal scorer. The duo got 20 PRA from the wing on the night.
- Lou and Matt had to traverse uncharted waters all the way at the final step of the Last Man In with Oklahoma City's Isaiah Joe. It had been a long time between picks for Joe as he hadn't been successfully selected (there was a DNP in June 2021) since January 2021. But on this day, the Thunder guard was second on the team in scoring against Memphis and finished with 26 PRA.
- But our big winner of the night passively earning the top veteran score of the season and one of the best veteran scores in Pick One history was Colin with Devin Booker. Booker had 58 points against New Orleans and had 69 (nice) optimal PRA in the win which made him the first non-rookie to crack 60 PRA in 2022-23.
