- The dreaded "Game Time Decision" can throw even the most calculated picks into disarray. Al found that out the hard way as Terry Rozier was a late addition to the Hornets lineup against the Spurs relegating his selection Kelly Oubre Jr. to just 16 minutes off the bench and 5 PRA.
- Results ticked up appreciably from there with the next score in sequence was Trevor's selection Jusuf Nurkic. His third double-double in four games earned him 30 PRA in Portland's loss to Memphis. Only Ryan has the Blazers big left at their disposal.
- Dallas continues to live life at the moment without Luka Doncic which means more nights for Tim Hardaway Jr. to go for 32 PRA off the bench. The total was enough to keep Matt in the lead ever so slightly, but THJ's Mavs still lost to the Lakers.
- And for the first time in Pick One history, there is a THREE-WAY tie for top score. Last Man In Donovan Mitchell (Lou), John Collins (Colin) and Marcus Morris (Ryan) all ended their respective evenings with 33 PRA apiece. That fact doesn't help Lou and Colin much as they are both jockeying with one another to stay out of last but for Ryan it pulls him back within a point of regaining the top spot.
- He would have drawn level if he had went with another Clipper, and the night's veteran Bench Bargain, Eric Bledsoe. The on again, off again starter was part of the second unit versus Utah and had 34 PRA in that role. But, pulling double duty as both the rookie Bench Bargain and optimal scorer is Alperen Sengun. A double-double and a rookie-boosted 70 PRA off the Houston bench was a sparkle in the midst of a lot of shit as the Rockets were demolished by Cleveland.
