- We are getting Icarus-level close to flying too close to the sun with the Last Man In when it comes to the Sacramento Kings. The two utilizers of the mechanic on this night, Lou and Matt, have seven and five Kings utilized respectively after Chimezie Metu netted them 20 PRA in Sacramento's win over the Clippers. Only Ryan has yet to use one Kings player.
- The man who has used the second least, Colin, went for Seth Curry against the Celtics in the night's lowest scoring contest. Luckily, the younger Curry didn't completely fall off a cliff and put up 23 PRA in the loss.
- Al selected the lone rookie for the evening, Chris Duarte, who returned to the Indiana starting lineup against the Hawks. It wasn't a tour de force for the Oregon rookie but a rookie-boosted 30 PRA gave Al the bronze medal for the day. Colin is who stands between Duarte being the first rookie of the season to be completely picked out.
- Oklahoma City and Houston both came into their battle tanks matchup with very depleted rosters due to a litany of injuries. Trevor's pick Shai Gilgeous-Alexander stepped up significantly for his side with 45 PRA yet still could not stop the current hot streak of the Rockets who won their fourth on the trot.
- But in the end, we have a bit to talk about when it comes to top score. Firstly, Ryan set a new standard for the season for non-boosted veteran scores with the optimal score of 61. However, it could have been triple that had Giannis Antetokounmpo dished out one solitary assist more in Milwaukee's win over Charlotte. Sitting that single dime away from a Triple Double Down firing off, the Greek Freak did not pass the ball once after getting his ninth assist on a Khris Middleton three-pointer with 52.5 seconds left. He did hit the game winner with 2 seconds remaining but selfishly I think Ryan hoped the game would go to overtime and see the first chance of a score nearing 200 boosted PRA.
- It seems a bit anti-climatic to talk about Bench Bargains after all that so I'll keep it brief since they are both familiar names in this spot. Montrezl Harrell had 35 PRA for Washington in a win while Davion Mitchell was arguably Sacramento's top performer off the pine with 50 PRA in their win.
