- There were just three games to pick from on the night. Only Phoenix/Dallas went without a single selection and that's fine in the end since neither team produced a bench bargain or optimal scorer.
- Klay Thompson continues to get early buckets in his return to the Warriors lineup making him Matt's Last Man In against Indiana. Unfortunately, he only got five more shots to go down after that initial one and not much else as the Dubs lost in OT and Matt ended up with just 15 PRA.
- The second step of the Last Man In provision was much kinder to Lou as spot starter Goga Bitadze had 27 PRA for the Pacers which tied his season-high.
- Trevor went with another man filling in as part of Indiana's west coast back-to-back lineup in Torrey Craig. First half foul trouble nerfed him slightly, but he was still able to get himself to the 20 PRA mark by game's end.
- Jonathan Kuminga didn't take a single shot from the field yet still found a way to earn Ryan a rookie-boosted 26 PRA in defeat. Only Lou has Kuminga left in their player pool.
- RJ Barrett was one of the best of a pretty pitiful bunch as the Knicks fell limply to New Orleans. Barrett finished his evening with 25 PRA despite not playing a single second of the fourth quarter.
- That leaves Colin to net top score honors with Herb Jones. The Pelicans rookie had his second top score of the month of January with 38 rookie-boosted PRA in a team-high 37 minutes.
- Optimally, Chris Duarte and his rookie-boosted 74 PRA would have been the best bet had anybody still had him left at their disposal. Instead, Stephen Curry ascended to the Optimal Throne with 52 PRA in Golden State's overtime loss. In terms of bench bargains, Duarte's fellow Pacer freshman Isaiah Jackson went for 46 rookie-boosted PRA against the Warriors while Immanuel Quickley paced the veterans with 23 PRA off the Knicks' bench.
