- MLK Day was one rife with lineup shifts that had a huge impact on the Pick One Challenge.
- The first came in Miami as walking double-double Omer Yurtseven immediately returned to the DNP-CD Den with the return of Bam Adebayo. That was not welcome news to Matt who then found himself with the Last Man In assignment of Avery Bradley (10 PRA) instead of a chance at big points from the Heat rookie.
- Lou had to use the second step of the Last Man In mechanic to find Utah's Royce O'Neale. While he doubled the output of the other LMI Bradley with 20 PRA, his Jazz were ultimately defeated by the Lakers.
- Our only participant to roll with one of the early MLK Day tip-offs was Ryan with New Orleans' Josh Hart. His Pelicans fell short on the afternoon against the Celtics but he still finished with a respectable 26 PRA.
- There were two rookies taken on the day and unfortunately both of their sides lost. Colin's pick Jeremiah Robinson-Earl had a rookie-boosted 30 PRA but the Thunder couldn't steal one at the death against Dallas.
- While Ayo Dosunmu's Bulls lost to the Grizzlies, he was a winner in the Pick One for Al and Trevor netting the pair 62 rookie-boosted PRA in a spot start earning top score. It was his second consecutive double-double, this time with rebounds instead of assists.
- Optimally, Colin probably wishes he picked out Chris Duarte and his rookie-boosted 74 PRA off the Indiana bench. It is all Chris all the time on this blurb today as Chris Boucher was also the veteran bench bargain with 33 PRA for Toronto.
