- The Lakers got their Challenge-high fifth unique selection of the season with Last Man In Troy Brown Jr. However, Ryan only got 14 PRA from LA's default power forward. Brown is the first player this season to have played all three years of the Pick One Challenge and just make his debut in 2022-23.
- Charlotte's team is a mess to put it politely. Even with nearly their entire starting lineup in street clothes, Trevor's pick Kelly Oubre Jr. couldn't even break 20 PRA, netting 19 in a blowout loss to Memphis.
- Lou found himself on the other side of the equation with Zion Williamson. Williamson's 20 PRA mostly came in the first half before the Pelicans took their foot off the gas in beating the heavily depleted Warriors.
- If you aren't named Paolo Banchero or Bennedict Mathurin, you've been a crap shoot as a rookie selection this season. The latest dice roll came from Colin after both his original pick and backup pick (both from the Hornets) scratched. Portland's Shaedon Sharpe at least tripled his last Pick One outing with 24 RBPRA in a victory over Phoenix.
- Sharpe's teammate Jusuf Nurkic was the other Blazers player taken on the night by Matt. The Bosnian scored five of Portland's last seven points in their big win over the Suns yet finished with just 14 points en route to 25 PRA.
- That of course left Al to take home the top score with Philadelphia's Tyrese Maxey. As the 76ers continue to struggle with Joel Embiid battling an illness, Maxey has thrived individually. He had 41 PRA against the Knicks. He's scored 28 or more points in five of his last six games.
- Optimally, the dueling Jayson Tatum and DeMar DeRozan each went for 54 PRA as Boston pipped the Bulls. Detroit's Jaden Ivey joined them at the best possible mountain top with 54 RBPRA against the Cavaliers.
